Greetings,

I am purchasing a 2014 Stryker. After doing some research I've come to the conclusion that the pulley swap is mutually beneficial for the owners of Strykers and V-Star 1300s. If you own a 2011-2016 V-Star 1300 and are looking to lower your highway cruising RPM the 31T front pulley is a mutually free way to do it. There are tons of articles on various forums discussing this. I can wrangle up a few links, the most extensive one I've come across is on another Stryker forum.

Changing front pulley for more power [Archive] - Yamaha Star Stryker Motorcycle Forum

I will be picking up my bike this Saturday! I live in Western Washington in the event an interested party near me wants to save on shipping.

I have a 2009 vstar 1300 tourer, and I'm very interested in this mod.

I bought the bike to commute on, and when I'm not in a car with other people, it's a 120mi round trip to work, much of it 70mph freeway miles, this could help.

ok here is what I found.

27D-17651-00-00 31 tooth Stryker front pulley
3D8-17651-00-00 30 tooth 1300 Front pulley

looks like the 1300 tourer pulley is the same from 2007 to current (2016).
