Being new to this model I'm still finding my way around - while riding and hitting a bump or a bumpy stretch of road there is a rattle as if a small nut or screw is loose in the fuel tank - thought I'd ask here before taking things apart to chase this elusive gremlin. Maybe something underneath the tank flapping against the bottom????

If I do remove the tank does it have to be completely empty of fuel when disconnecting the gas lines???

Before I pulled the tank, I would got Harbor Freight or Amazon and get a flexible extendable magnet and fish around in the tank.
The tank slides onto rubber disc holders on the front and screws down on the back.
You do not have to drain the tank to remove it. If you have to reve it, wait until it is low on gas.
The hose to the injectors has a sliding clip that prevents gas leak when removed
