on my 650 custom Yamaha says to check valves at 4000 miles. Intake and exhaust if they are not within the spec range then what do I adjust them to?
Intake is 0.07- 0.12 and exhaust is 0.12 to 0.17 so if one is out of spec say if its intake 0.14, then what do i take it to and should I adjust all the same. The 2 intake the same and the 2 exhaust the same?

Jabo,

I believe the goal is just to get the space to fall in the range given for each vlave. I believe the adjustment often is OK and does not need to be changed.

Be sure the crank is in the right position before checking. Here is a link to some instructions.

Yes, I have already looked over the page. I think I get it now. Juat so i get inbetween the tolorances Ill be ok'
