When I did my spring maint. I removed the valve covers to check the clearance. The rear exhaust cover has since started leaking just a tad. Is the o-ring seal on the cover something that's normally replaced or will tightening it most likely fix it? If the seal is normally replaced I'll just go ahead and order one.

Thanks

Temporary fix = flip the O ring over and re-use it

Best fix = Get new O rings.....

Rubber parts are usually good for about 5 years if you are lucky.

Thanks you sir. I will check the torque on the bolt and make sure it's tight. If tight I'll just order O-rings. If I have to pull it off may as well replace it. Especially something that cheap.

Just make darn sure you don't over-tighten....
