I have a 2016 1300 V Star Tourer and I am trying to get the exact model of it for ordering parts, etc. I can't find a good VIN decoder that will identify the model. XVS1300, XVS13AC and the list goes on. Anybody know of a good Yamaha VIN decoder link?

Personally, I check the data on VIN Check and make a vehicle history lookup. You can also find it on the inner frame or jamb of the front door on the driver's side, the dashboard at the base of the windshield (on the driver's side), or on a plate attached to the area on the chassis.

Sorry for my late reply to this thread. I also have heard about this app. It helps to get the details of the car for free. Though there are some other apps which are paid. I would like to know more about this one you are using right now. Don't hesitate to update me further. In the meanwhile, I also want to let you know something I found https://www.vincheckfree.com/ What is your thought in this one?
