VStar 650 custom seat height increase??

Hello everybody,

I was just wondering if anybody has ever increased the seat height of a VStar 650 custom.

This is kinda strange as everybody decreases the seat height

i want to increase it a couple of inches and was thinking do i also have to raise the handle bars ?

I currently have stock seat.
