Been riding dirt bikes and enduros since I was 12, but just bought my first street bike in October 2012. Picked up a v950 for 5000k with 12k miles on it. It already had the v&h big radius pipes and a kn filter. I just started wanting to dress it up a bit and stumbled on to this forum. Now after seeing some of the bikes on here it's going to be an expensive stumble cause I am liking what I'm seeing. I have some questions about my bike now ,but don't know if this is the proper place for it. So that is my story for now.

Welcome to the forum Jay! You'll find this is a great place to get advice. Folks here are very knowledgeable and very willing to help. But let me warn you we love pictures of MC's! If you don't post a picture of you bike soon, the forum Sargent at Arms (I forget who he is) will show up at your house. They can do that now, something to do with your ISP provider. :)-{o>. Seriously, welcome I think you will be able to find lots of help here!

Welcome Jay!

$5,000,000 is a LOT to spend on a bike - not sure you got the best deal out there, but if you've got that much cash to spend on a bike, the modding process is going to feel cheap! :D

Post up some pics of your bike and Kayak will send you a .gif card for $1,000 in accessories!

Wait a minute are you guys saying I over paid. I told you its my first street bike. They must of seen me coming. He wanted 58000k and said that was a good deal.
That's why I figured mods would be expensive.
As far as the pics its the same as all the other black ones well of course plus the wings and jet engines.

JRad, Great Deal! It's Bandit. I just got a VStar 950 too, $4,700 with 700 miles on it and an extended warranty. WISH it had pipes.

I was looking at the V&H Big Radius Exhaust on my 950. What's it like? is it TOO Loud??? Ot is it tolerable? I need advice from a guy who has it.

Hey Bandit I think it sounds perfect. It,s not ridiculous or anything like that it just sounds really good. In fact it was one of the things that sold me on it. I loved the way it looked but when I took in on a test drive it sounded like music to my ears it closed the deal for me.
