arby I used hot water and dawn dish soap, then applied rubbing alchohol. Did not ruin paint or chrome on my bike. I am sure you will receive other replies and maybe something better??? Ride safe and enjoy~YammyV

I took some labels off both of my bikes with Goo gone and it didn't remove the clear coat. I've also used pauli466's heat gun method as well, works great too.

Odorless Mineral Spirits will also remove the glue.....won't hurt the paint and takes the sticky stuff immediately. Not to mention it's a lot less expensive than Goo Gone...
