RonK If you want to meet up for only a portion of the trip it would be a good thing. First overnight West Coast get together it starts from here.

This is going to be a great ride. Two epic rides in one long weekend. Hwy 36 from Red Bluff to Fortuna have lunch and begin the Avenue of the Giants. Stay at the Miranda Garden Cottages on the Avenue. It will be a full moon on the 15th so some great evening rides among the majestic Redwoods. Come join us

One month left if you want to join us. I'm staying at the Motel 6 in Red Bluff and Boots is staying at the Days Inn. The 16th of August Friday through Monday. If anyone is interested let us know and I can get a three bed cabin at Miranda Garden Cottages.

I just got back from a trip to the east coast, New England and upper mid-west. My regular camera pooped out for awhile so having one like that as a backup is a good idea. Saved some shots for me.

RonK, Anytime you are in my neck of the woods let me know so we can ride together. I'm interested in the off shoots of 36 also. I ran out of batteries on my camera on the Ave. No stores around that had AA's.

I'm still in Limbo with my wife asking me to not ride or very little riding until I get some life insurance. I'm pushing the agent I'm working with and so far it looks good but I don't know how much longer it will take. Fingers are crossed it will complete in the next week or so.

No one else is looking to join?

I will be at the Motel 6 on Williams in Red Bluff on the 16th and Fortuna through lunch and staying in Miranda Gardens Cottages on the Ave. on the 17th. Can't wait to post some videos.

I am potentially up for such a thing but it'd have to be in Oregon, Washington, or eastward. I avoid California at all costs. No exceptions. (No, there are not any warrants for my arrest there!)

I would love to see something along the central Oregon coast. It is really beautiful.

I think the week after Labor Day. Either Jackson or Placerville Ca. As a base lots of great rides and history in the area. What say you?

The week after Labor day would interfere with the U.S. Southeast regional get together. I'm not able to commit to that but I'm thinking on it real hard for 2020, starting to think through plans to justify it to my wife and how to do it without spending too much. Maybe camp on the way out and back.

I sure like the idea of doing something on the West Coast also but we'd have to find another time slot. Central Oregon Coast sounds great. I've done highway 5 up and down many times, visited the California Coast the whole way up past Eureka but didn't do anything on the Oregon Coast yet.
