I have never run Metzeler till now, always run Dunlop, Pirelli and

Bridgestone for the last 45 years. So far these are by far the best

handling, riding tires I have had, made a new ride out of my 1100

vstar. Anyone dealt with these, how did they wear, are they worth

the heavy duty green?

I put the Metz on My Victory Jackpot. I got 9200 on the original Dunlop, 10,600 on the metz. I think 20 k is highly unlikely. They are better handling and riding.

I had Metzlers on my 1100 classic and got 22k out of them. They handled great on dry pavement. I did not like them on wet roads, they made the bike feel like I was riding on marbles. If you don't ride much in the rain they are a great tire.
Hope this helps
Good luck
