Okay the carb diagram in the service manual is barely useful. So I bought this bike from some guy. It runs good except the original owner just slapped cobra on a XVS1100 2007 without adjusting the fuel mixture. Annoying backfire. I hate it.
So when I was trying to free the Welsh plug I notice a empty hole next to it.

At the top looking at the PMS screw. Just to the LEFT is a Philips screw. What's if for and why don't my carbs have them?
Thanks for any help

I am missing that same Philips screw on mine as well. I was told it doesn’t need to have anything in it because it dose nothing.
