So I was looking down the center of my exhausts and noticed that the left side has a type of restrictor with a tiny hole in the center and the right side exhaust looks to have a screen.
Is this normal?

It is, and @Jamsorre125 is correct.something about the way they’re assembled gives them the sound “together”.
Although, if I have my way I’ll have the TAB Performance 1.75 slash-cut by next year.

Her there, I'm new to the forum. ChiefGunner I put the TAB 2.5" slash cut on my 2018 Venture and I am very happy with the sound. I get a lot of second glances and compliments on them. They look great too.

At least in the TAB videos the 2.5 seemed too loud for me. The reason I liked the 1.75 is because they were about the same as stock when at idle or cruising speed but would BARK and come ALIVE when you got on the throttle.
The slash cut absolutely does with the lines of this bike BEAUTIFULLY!

They are very similar in sound to the Basani 2 into 1 exhaust that I had in my 2011 HD Ultra. They're definitely louder than stock, but both my wife and I don't find them overbearing even in longer rides. It all boils down to personal preference.
