not completely sure but I think the blacked out engine and forks and such make it the midnight custom. all that is chrome on mine. I do like the look of that fairing. it's a lot nicer looking than my windshield. who makes it? I'd like to look into one.

Pick'd up the bike last year, these are some of the mods done to it

Hard chrome straight pipes
K+N intake
Oil relocation kit
2" lowering coil over shock on rear
800lb spring ( firmer ride)
Kuryakyn grips , throttle lock
Memphis shade batwing
Mustang II seat

Dealerships are not open today, gonna call tomorrow to get some answers.

It's a Midnight Custom.

Never heard of a "2" lowering coil over shock" on an 1100 before. These things are usually lowered with dog bones. My guess is that if they lowered it, they did it with dog bones and then put the slightly heavier spring on to keep it from bottoming out. From the pictures, the bike look pretty much like it's at stock height in the rear though.

But....if you have info on "lowering shock" I'd like to know where they got it.....

I sent my v star dealer an email even though there not open today and they got back..

I will run the VIN on Monday for you. But from the pics it appears to be a midnight custom 1100.
The 650 had a drum brake in the rear and a single front disc.
The 1100 had dual discs on the front and a rear disc brake.
It is not a 950 just by looks.

Thanks for all the input guys... Very much appreciated
