So my Vstar 1100 when i try to start sounds like a high speed drill no cranking just a whirl. is that a starter clutch should i check the starter first?
My 650 I was good with but this bike i dont know it well enough.

The starter doesn't spin out like an auto starter does, so it does sound like it is time for the starter clutch to be replaced.
