So working on the forum "deal of the year" Road Star and as expected on a 20 year old bike, many of the plastic wire/cable management hoops are brittle and broken. While I could probably search the Yamaha parts fiche for part numbers and order them one by one (although at $5, $6, $7+ it can start to add up quickly). Since this isn't really anything special to Yamaha I was wondering if anyone has sourced these in a more bulk sense for a more reasonable price?
Toyota uses these push clips to secure under body moldings and such. A search of the part number I can find them on Ebay in bags of 10 or 20 for what Toyota dealers would charge for one. So I'm hoping someone may have had a need for these and found an aftermarket source. If all else fails I can resort to zip ties but I kind of like the idea of putting it back to the way it was from factory. I've circled the parts I'm talking about in case my description isn't clear. I also need 3 or 4 on the other side that are a bit smaller to guide the clutch cable along the frame rail.
Thanks for any suggestions.
