Hey fellas ! Long time rider ( dirt and street). This is weird trying to do a very brief intro. I feel like I need to talk about long walks on the beach…. Just kidding.!
About two years ago, I traded a 2006YZ 450 F for a 1998 Royal star. That particular bike has been opened up a little bit not 100% sure what’s been done, but I do believe it’s had some jetting and some slip ons.
AnyWho, I have really fell in love with that bike. It’s a torque monster. I’m definitely not afraid to get into those RPMs..
I liked the 1998 so much, that I bought a 2008 Royal star venture as well. Mainly thought that I would like it because of the dash, radio & bags, but have come to find that it’s a different animal than the 98.
So I do have some questions about how to open up the 2008 if anybody has had experience with that.
