I f*cked up, big time lol. Used the wrong white paint so i took a very much to yellow-ish on the rear fender… AND i removed the masking tape to soon, that did do some damage as well.. and i painted when it was waat to cold! But i was in a hurry and didn’t think things thru..

I dont have time to re do it now, this will do for the season, and maybe i will paint the entire bike after summer..
I mean, im faaar from perfect, why should not my bike match up with me? :ROFLMAO::cool:

It still looks awesome! So maybe the mistake will lead to more inspiration and you will be able to reveal where your inspiration takes you soon. I love seeing people take bikes and tear into them and make it a reflection of their own self. Me, as being completely art illiterate love to see what others do because if I tried something like that it would be a disaster! Forge on my friend...forge on!

Thanks!

Well yeah, from a distance it looks good (not the wrong colour tho, you can se the old rear fender in the background, it´s kinda big difference on the "white") so i don't really care so much.
As i said before, its my first build and first real "paintjob" with rattlecans in a shitty cold garage.. but wtf! The bike is made for riding not for show, and its all made by me, a happy amateur who got a little wild and started to tryin out all kind of sh*t just for fun :ROFLMAO::cool::D

As said in my earlier post, i fckd up with the colour, but besides that, i think it looks pretty brutal :LOL: it’s good enough for me!
btw the tank and seat is just laying there, thats why it looks a little distorted lol

Even thought the white isn't exactly what you planned it looks good. While the theme isn't my taste I'm very impressed by your work. The only thing I wonder, is there risk of dragging that fender when you hit a bump? My driveway washes where it intersects with the road. If I'm 2-up I've bounced the bottom of my frame off the road. So I'd be worried about tearing that fender or pipes up. Of course that's also why I'll never have a corvette or other low slung performance car where I live....oh that and the $$$. :ROFLMAO:

Not all done, but we’re starting to get there:cool:
Still needs to wrap the headers and paint the exhausts and some small details left to do.. but what do you guys think so far? :)

The front fender is from Harley? I'm also starting to modify my XV1700 chicano style. I'm starting with the wheels, front 21 "rear 18". We'll see how it comes out.

Yeah its a harley front fender, and the second half of the rear fender is a harley ducktail, together with the first half of the original road star fender :)

First short test ride
It seems to ride pretty well, even tho i have to bleed the rear brake, but i couldn’t wait to try it
The exhaust needs som more paint to, but runned out of paint. Missing some chrome, but now i’m feeling we are getting somewhere
